How Can We Connect Fax Modem To Our System?

We are making the project on connection of fax modem to computer and therefore guide us from basic, first how should we proceed?

First of all, install the hardware by connecting it to the mother board. There are slots available in the motherboard. One of them is especially built for fax modem. Fix that modem into that slot and connect it to the phone line. Then insert the driver cd into the cdrom. Install the driver by double clicking the setup file directly from the cd, or go to start>settings>control panel . There you will find add hardware icon. Double click this icon, and select option of automatically detect hardware. If windows does not automatically detect it, then do it yourself manually by following the procedure.
After installing the modem successfully, Go to Internet connections in the Tool menu of Internet explorer. And Add isp icon. Write username and password and click connect. It should run!
