    3(x^2-5/3x)-2

    complete square inside by (5/6)^2) =25/36 add this inside the () and subtract right back out at the end

    3(x^2-5/3x (5/6)^2)-2-3(5/6)^2

    = 3(x-5/6)^2-(2+25/12)

    = 3(x-5/6)^2-49/12

    f(x)=3(x-5/6)^2-49/12

    The vertex is (5/6, -49/12)
