    Graves 's disease is one of the type of hyperthyroidism in which immune system attacks on thyroid gland and makes it overactive to produce excessive thyroid hormone. This can affects eye tissues and some parts of skin. There is no cure of this disease. Only symptoms can be treated. Use of medicine to reduce thyroid activity can work. Beta blockers are use for heart related problems. Radioactive iodine treatment is also recommended. Surgery to remove thyroid gland is also successful.  Orbital decompression surgery for eye problems is recommended, Orbital radiotherapy and Eye muscle surgery is also used. Now Lasik laser surgery is also being used. So, discuss this option with your dopctor.
