Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Nursing duties along with the education and titles involved differ in different countries. However, a general trend seen is that they reflect a rising level of both responsibility and status.

Even the type of nurses may vary from country to country such as Nurse practitioner, Matron and Registered nurse. As a Registered nurse, for instance, some of your main duties would include the assessment, planning, and execution in addition to the evaluation of your patient's care. This is done along with the other people who make up the health care team. You would generally need to administer the various medications and treatments from time to time as ordered by the patient's doctor.

You would need to check on, note down and more importantly report any symptoms or changes observed in a patient's condition. The use or the monitoring of medical equipment is typically involved on the job. There are just some of the various duties involved.
