Good question, I think you could guess on an average that it would depend on how much money you make, and how much you spend out in cash. Most people nowaday, use the debit cards and dcredit cards.
An increasing number of people don't carry cash at all. Most of the time, you have your bills to pay so as soon as you get paid, you spend it on bills, food and fuels.
I typically don't like to go anywhere without at least $20.00 on me. I also know people who won't carry less than $500.00 on them, which I think is excessive, but that's their perogitive. Hope this helps.

Average amount of pocket money is given on the basis of status of living of family and than their need requirement. But the problem is that people do not plan for money expenditure. I do not blame them as their are so many technological options so anyone's interest like if I like music than I could find so many accessories attached to it like IPod, Cd player etc etc that a person needs unlimited money for interest solution.
