What Does Monarchy Do For The People In The Government

I am not sure how to answer this question and would like to know what do they do for there people

    It depends on which country you mean. For instance, in the surviving European monarchies, the king or queen doesn't actually run the government. The  government is elected democratically; the monarch has various roles which can include advice (though in many countries eg Britain, the monarch isn't involved in direct politics at all) but can't dictate policy. A typical function of a monarch is as a figurehead and focus for national identity. They also represent the country in a non-political way; for example, in Germany the President is the symbolic (but not political) leader, while in the UK it is the queen. They also represent charities and do diplomatic work by representing the country abroad.

    There are also countries such as Saudi Arabia, where the monarch actually runs the government. These are called absolute monarchies.
