According to marketing, a corporate identity is the "persona" of a company which is planned to agree with and assist the accomplishment of business objectives, and is frequently clearly manifested by methods of branding and the application of trademarks.

Corporate identity comes into existence when there is an ordinary ownership of an organizational philosophy which is evident in a distinct commercial culture- the corporate individuality. At its most intense level, the people think that they have ownership of the philosophy.

Corporate identity can even have a sociological logic. In any big civilization associates tend to develop a unique bond towards another associate of that minority even if they haven't met that individual personally.
