Where Is Downderry, Cornwall?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Downderry is located in the Cornish seaside. It is a village with a rather uncommercialised and untainted coastline as well as & countryside. It has to one side the famous Looe and Talland Bay. If you walk a little further one can also visit the 13th Century harbour of Polperro. From the cliffs here one can get a rather spectacular view of everything from the East to the West as well as the Hessenford valley which lies just a mile away. The Seaton Downderry Beach is a very famous location here. Today, the village is in a much better shape. It has its own general store, a Post Office, a traditional inn with a splendid sea view as well as a Rosery Restaurant.
