    I Bred My Dog 35 Days Ago, Is She Pregnant?

    I took her to the vet today, day 35, he said he feels something but it does not feel normal and it seems like it bothered her when he touched it. I thought she was pregnant. Because when you stand her up her belly is starting to look bigger, my vet said to come back in 10 more days. Ever since I bred her she does not like her stomach rubbed, Could it be that she is pregnant and that's why she didn't want the vet touching her stomach, she acts normal not like she is in pain?

    It is possible your dog is pregnant.  There is also the possibility that she is pregnant and something has gone wrong with one of the fetuses.  At this point ultrasound can be used to determine if your dog is pregnant--not all clinics have access to ultrasound.  In 10 days at day 45 have your dog back to the veterinarian--at this point the fetal skeletons will have calcified and will be visible on x-ray. 
    Monitor your dog very closely during the next 10 days.  If she stops eating, drinking, becomes lethargic, or develops any kind of vaginal discharge she needs to be examined immediately!

      She could be pregnant because it is same with a guinea pig when they are pregnant they don't like their belly touching and start gaining weight and with a guinea pig they drink more water so she could.
