    Oxymoron can be characterized as a form of speech. The word Oxymoron has been derived from the Greek language. This word is a combination of two words which are "oxy" that means sharp and " moros" which means dull. Thus, an Oxymoron contains two terms that are completely contradictory, just as the name explains itself.

    Oxymoron are normally used intentionally in order to create effective speech of writing. They are used to attract the interest of the reader or the listener. Some of the most commonly used Oxymoron are:

    - Bittersweet
    - Forward Retreat
    - Deafening Silence
    - Open Secret
    - Controlled Chaos
