Why Is Sugar Added To Bread?
While making bread I decided to leave out the sugar that was in the recipe and I didnt see any major change so i was unsure why i would add it in the first place.

The most important role of sugar is to add the sweet taste in the bread. But if you want to control sugar or don't need, you can always make a sugar free bread.

You have to have sugar to activate the yeast in the bread. Without it, it wouldn't rise properly. My grandmother taught me that!
