The biggest one is that you must have complete compassion for all animals and their welfare!!!!, This organization supports the welfare for all animals in need of homes,medical attention,abuse situations! They deal with many situations from the very happiest of times (adoptions) to unfortunate sad situations such as abuse and death.
You have to understand all of this and be willing to understand all of the situations you may be working with and if you can you could be a very successful worker for this absolutely wonderful organization!

I think you need not just be a volunteer but also adept enough to read aimal body language. Not every dog found cold and starving necessarily wants you to throw your hands around them (even though we want to). But when I looked into it, wanting to go out, rescue, issue complaints against these awful people, I believe there were law enforcement /criminal justice qualifications needed-but it was all listed on their website.

You need to like animals and i guess have A-C GCSE's in like 4 or 5 subjects it depends on what you do, you my need training if you want to be a vet.
