    Fawdon is found in Newcastle, England. Newcastle-upon-Tyne has Fawdon as its electoral ward. This ward is close to the A1western bypass which connects London to Edinburgh, capital of Scotland.

    The Nestle Rowntree factory which started in 1958 is situated at Fawdon. Six hundred workers are employed here and 40,000 ton of chocolate is produced per year. It ranks second among Nestle's largest factories; first being York. The Fawdon site also has other factories like Blue Riband, Breakaway, Yorkie, Rolo and Friut pastilles.

    The Fawdon area in Newcastle-upon-Tyne has its Metro Station. This station started in 1981 and is situated on the Tyne and Wear Metro (County of Tyne and Wear, North east England). St Mary the Virgin is the local church here.
