Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Very bad, you can't imagine how badly they were treated. Some would have search for food in dust bins, steal and would have not much to eat except, scraps, stale bread with left over oil aft from cooked meat. Children had to work in (work houses), forced to go up chimneys (fire places) to sweep the soot out in order to keep the rich people fires burning in their homes.

Its not like today. Children and people are far more better off in these days because they has advance medical practices. The people in Victorian times suffered from many illnesses, mainly because they could not afford doctors bills. They didn't have social security bebefit to live, they were jut poor and poor they wuld stay.
