I have Stevens Johnson Syndrome. This has caused a lot of damage to my body. I look completely normal on the outside except for a few scars, but I feel terrible on the inside. I'm in constant pain and according to my doctors I have excessive intra-muscular damage, deep tissue damage, scar tissue around all my joints, and deminished cartlidge. I have no insurance and don't qualify for medicaid or disability. What can I do to get help with this pain? I just want to be able to contribute to society again without being in pain all the time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also if it helps my SJS wasn't diagnosed properly until the seventh time I had it. I know that is an uncommon number. Most people with this condition are diagnosed and only have one med that started it all, and they have to stay away from that med. I, on the other hand, am very hyper sensitive to medications that could cause SJS. Pseudoephedrine, naproxen, and paxil have caused it for me. Sorry for the length of this I just really need some help and any advice once again would be greatly appreciated.
