How Do You Build Endurance Muscle?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

It is generally believed that regular exercises in short bursts help in increasing endurance muscles. Endurance exercises include lateral roots, desk pushups, bicep curls, seated crunches, chest presses, hamstring curls, wall squats, heel lifts, buttock squeezes etc.

The body comprises basically two kinds of muscles white and red. The ones that are used frequently are red muscles and take this colour due to the chemical myoglobin that retains oxygen. This myoglobin contains a special kind of protein type molecule. Muscles also contain mitochondria that produce ATP to return myosin and actin filaments to return to their respective positions. Muscles are formed by damaging the fibres of muscles through exercise and allowing them to rebuild during rest and the provision of appropriate nutrients.
Muscles that are not used much are the white muscles. It is believed that the more the amount of red muscles the greater the stamina and endurance of a person.
