Are Dachshunds A Good Breed Of Dog To Have If You Don't Have Much Time For Walking It?

NO! Dachshunds need lots of exercise because of the way they're built. They tend to have back trouble because of their extended length, and if they start carrying even a little too much weight, they'll slip a disc. I had this happen to my 5-year-old doxie Lil Bit, and as I was in a wheelchair at the time, I couldn't take care of her (she couldn't go up or down stairs, jump on the furniture, run, play, etc., without injuring herself further.) I ended up having to put her to sleep because no one would take her, even the Humane Society.

You shouldn't buy a dog if you don't have enough time to walk it :Sall dogs need exercise, no matter what shape or size.
So no dog is a good breed if you do not have time to walk it.
