In order to treat dog bites the first thing you nee to do is to immediately wash the bite away with water and soap. You can even try and rub alcohol or some amount of hydrogen peroxide. Now try and apply some pressure in order to stop the bleeding. Now place a bandage over the wound.
It is very important that you keep a close watch on the wound. Incase you find any kind of swelling or redness, or even warmth in that area or even fever then you need to meet the doctor for any kind of infection. Incase you haven't taken a tetanus shot recently then you will need to take one soon. Please watch out to see if the dog has any kind of rabies.

If they are really bad you should take the person to the doctor's office and if it doesn't need it, then put alcohol on it and lots of it.
