What Is There To Do In Bloomington?

Located in central Illinois, Bloomington is a convention and tourist destination.  The larger area, known as Bloomington-Normal, is filled with festivals, events and attractions.  Here are 5 things to do.  
Upper Limits Rock Gym – This indoor climbing facility is one of the tallest in the world.  Activities include rock-climbing, ice climbing and rappelling.  Lessons and equipment are also available.
Beer Nuts – Home of beer nuts, this shop includes peanut, cashew, almond, pecan, walnut and other varieties.  Created in Bloomington in the 1930's, this snack is now a national favorite.  Learn how this snack is made.   
Miller Park - This park offers a train, war memorials, miniature golf, pavilion, bandstand and more.  Also, onsite is the Miller Park Zoo.  These well-landscaped grounds are home to tortoises, seal lions, tigers, bald eagles and many other creatures.  There are indoor and outdoor exhibits.
David Davis Mansion – Built at the end of the 1800's in the Italianate style, this mansion is home to the state museum.  There are 36 rooms, a stable and ornamental gardens with heirloom flowers.  Visitors to this home will appreciate its graceful design and gain understanding of the wealth and power of the day.
Constitution Trail – This trail, built on a former railroad line, is a popular place for biking, running, walking, inline skating and cross country skiing.  Winding through Bloomington and Normal, this trail is beautifully landscaped and leads to other historical and interesting point such as Camelback Bridge and the Audubon gardens.
