Hi, if you think he is afraid of commitment now, wait until the children come. Now that you are graduating from school, perhaps its time to take a good look at your relationship. He is not ready for marriage and a family move on. He may never be ready but you can not continue waiting for him to grow up. Do not try to make him, someone he is not, it will only hurt you more in the end. Whose life is it anyway. Yours, time waits for no one. Take it from someone who knows. Take care!

If You have exhausted all the possible ways of letting him know how you feel about this and his behaviour, them I would leave and make sure that you don't call Him and continue with your life as normal as possible. He will either decide that He needs to change His ways or that He is free to roam the country and what every He decides will be His choice and you then will have saved yourself a lot of anguish. But be sure you don't leave thinking that He will come back. When you leave make it because you are ready to make a change in your life and move forward with or without Him. Move on! So, it's been what 9 or 10 years now and he still can't take the next step. Look I believe you can be unmarried and as committed as a married couple, but if it is a step you want to take, and he either doesn't or can't right now, you need to move along.

You are a college graduate now, spread your wings and fly. Don't go looking at the next guy as marriage material though. You need to date a while, how old are you 22, 23? Date a lot; different guys. That's how you figure out what you want in a life mate. Good luck!
