What Style Of Clothing Is Right For A Women In Her Forty's?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Is there really a right style for a woman of any age?  Surely it is what you look both comfortable and stylish in.  You should never  consider comfort over style nor style over comfort.

At the age of forty, perhaps you would want to avoid the look that sometimes people call 'Mutton Dressed as Lamb', but any modest person would not be wearing a belt-like skirt and a black wonderbra under a white shirt.

Perhaps you should visit some of the more upmarket female boutiques and asking them to assist you in your search.  Certainly, you need to have an idea of what you want to look like, sexy, sophisticated, casual, formal? All of the above.

It doesn't have to be expensive, you can use your trip to the boutique as market research.  Why not ask other friends, or is there a celebrity of about your age that you admire, what is there dress sense or style like?

Most of all you have to be happy, but it doesn't have to mean leggings and a big old jumper!
