Do I Have To Remove The House Furniture?

My mum passed away 2 weeks ago and lived in a council house. I have been told that I have to remove all her furniture, is that right?

According to rules, sometime you need to do this. Sometime it also happens for repairing stuff, so just make sure what the reason behind it is and why they have told you to do so. Being a council house resident you are bound to follow their rules and regulations and you have some responsibilities too. Still you might have to remove your mother's furniture.

I am not the one who lived there. It was in my mothers name and she has died. I am next of kin.
