Baylands Avenue is a street in North Down in Northern Ireland. Other streets within the same vicinity are Abbey Drive, Albany Park, Beechfield Crescent, Bel-Air Avenue, Church Drive, Circular Road West, Clanmorris Close, Clarehill Lane etc.
North Down's MP is Sylvia Hermon. Its current dominant Political Party is Ulster Unionist. Despite this there are a substantial number of votes for small party groupings and individuals. These parties include the Northern Women's coalition, UK Unionist Party and the Conservative Party. It is a Parliamentary Constituency in the House of Commons. In addition it is also an Assembly constituency within the Northern Ireland Assembly. It is reputedly one of the most unionist parts of the Ireland. Despite this it has some of the most fiery and controversial politics of the whole Province. During voting the turnouts are very small for Northern Ireland standards.
