    How Do I Repair An Oak Tv Stand? There Is A Spot Approx. The Size Of A Nickle

    It looks like something tore off a piece of the wood. It's right on the edge.

    Some of the hardware stores sell wood putty in the different wood colors. If the stand's area where it was damaged needs filling in, this would be your best bet, probably. If you think it can be sanded smooth to blend in with the rest of the stand, then you would need (after sanding) to get a small bottle of oak colored stain and rub that into the wood to match the rest of the stand.
