How Do You Build A Barbie House?

Most of the Barbie houses which are available in the market are not very spacious in size. It must be noted that each of the dolls comes with his or her own set of accessories and furniture. Therefore, the ideal Barbie house is the one which is large enough to hold all the furniture and accessories, and it can be built and decorated according to the collector's personal choice.

It can be built by deciding how large you want your Barbie house to be and how many rooms and floors it must have, buying a plastic bookcase which has many shelves as the number of floors you need, take one of the shelves off and setting it beside the house to create an extra floors adjoining the house, assembling the bookcase, purchase thin carpeting and cutting cardboard or wood to create the back, side and interior walls of the house.

The next step involves wallpapering both sides of the interior walls and one side of the back wall and the side walls. You can also use the scraps of wallpaper that are left over. The outside of the back wall and the side walls must be covered with shelf paper and painted. Holes must be cut out for the doors and windows. Walls made of cardboard must be attached to the bookcase with the help of glue.
