How Can I Get My 9month Old Boxer Puppy From Toileting In The House At Night?

My puppy trained well using paper in my kitchen and then was going outside. He is able to come and go as he pleases through out the day when I'm home.He never does it during the day in the house or when left for 3-4 hours. It always seems to be around the same place.

I have a Boxer and they are stubborn. I use a kennel at night and when I am away.  She won't pee where she sleeps, and I would guess that your's won't either.
Good luck with that!!  Aren't Boxers awesome!!  They do ride the short bus though, but that's why I love 'em.

Take him to school for training. Give him special treats when he does well.

Hello there, when I got my puppy I kennel trained him. Meaning he was in the kennel during day time hours when I was at work and would only be allowed to run free if I was home. During night time at first I would kennel him then I would take him out right before I went to bed 10:30 and then right of way in the morning 6 am. What helps if you put the water up around 8 pm then take him out around 10. He should be fine then. If not rub his nose in the pee and say with a strict voice no and take him immediately outside. When he goes outside praise him. Remember that he is like like a little kid and wants to please you. I had my puppy house broken at 6 months and if there is an accident in the house its because he is sick and he shows me that he knows better. Good luck

The best thing to do in this situation is kennel/crate train your dog.  Your dog is old enough that he has the bladder control to make it through the night without urinating.  Make sure he urinated immediately before bedtime and take him out first thing in the morning.  Punishing dogs for inappropriate urination only works if you catch them in the act.  Rubbing the nose in urine several hours later does not work--they do not have the recall to associate the punishment with their behavior (inappropriate urination) several hours prior.  Always use positive reinforcement when your dog urinates and defecates appropriately.  Never give a dog that is not fully house trained access the the house unsupervised.

Maybe you should let him sleep in a kennel at night
