Can We Get Fitter With Yoga?

Hi Summer is approaching and I was looking for ways to start losing weight with yoga and stumbled upon this article: http://weight-watching.blogspot.com/2008/03/getting-fitter-with-yoga.html Are the tips mentioned there good enough to get me going? Thanks Katie

    In Yoga, while you are trying to get fit, you need to stretch often.

      While you may lose weight by doing yoga, the exercises are far better for toning, strength, muscle control and perhaps reduction of inches more than weight reduction.  If you're wanting to tone, it's a fabulous way to do it.  If it's weight you want to reduce quickly, proper diet and aerobic exercise will likely help you get to that goal more quickly.
