The Landlord Did Not Raise The Rent For 3 Years. Can He Now Add A 3 Year Increase?

The landlord failed to raise the rent for 3 years. (very nice btw) However now he wants to make up for those years by making the new increase equivalent to 3 years worth of increases. Can he do this?

    Generally, yes, with a new lease. Check with your local landlord-tenant government agency to be sure, since every state is different. He has the option of presenting a new lease, but you can decline and move. Sorry.
