You can change the colour of an image on the computer by means of various image editing software. The image editing software allows you to do just about anything to the image. Some of the image editing software available in the market are, ACDsee, Irfan View, Adobe Photoshop and many more.  Some of the software is also facilitated with features related to 2-D animation.

After opening the image of which you want to change the colour through the image editing software, you can simply change the colour by choosing the option to edit the colour wherein you can change the brightness, contrast, saturation hue, and you can even change a colour image to black and white image. These pieces of software have a 'help' option which will give you guidance on how to alter the colour of an image.
