    Discretionary funds are ideal to support the support the rising needs of the modern community.  These funds are well known for their flexibility. In a discretionary trust, any investment or distribution of funds vests with the trustees. The trustor normally provides a letter of wishes to the beneficiary. The letter can state the manner in which the trustor wishes the assets to be handled with during his life and post his death.  

    Earnings from the discretionary funds can be used to fund projects in the field of education, environment, arts, health and social cause. These funds can be used to help for financing academic programs, curriculum, scholarships and mentoring. A common use of the discretionary fund is to tide the gap between appropriated funds and the funds needed to provide for supplementing educational needs and academic programs.
