In NYS What Rights Does A Tenant Have When A Landlord Is Selling The Home That Is Rented?

My landlord is selling the home we have rented for 1 1/2 years. Real estate agent does not give sufficient notice when showing home and does not ask if times are convenient to us. Agent shows home approximately 3 times a week. What rights do we have in New York State?

I'm in NYS,and this all just happened to me from 11/2008 until May 2008.
I specified to the realty company, that no one was to see my apt. Unless I was home, and that I wanted at least 24 hours notice.
    They abided by it.
After all,you live there, you pay your rent, you have to have some say in the matter.
    Your personal belongings are there.
    The apt. Is YOURS !!

There may not be a law,I don't know,I'm trying to find out many things myself right now,but ,just tell them, you want a sufficient time of notice or else they can not come in.

I wish you the best of luck with that and your new landlord,or that you don't get evicted.
