Who Was Lew Ayres?

Lew Ayres was a well-known and well-liked American actor who was born on December 28, 1908 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He appeared in more than sixty films throughout his life.

He also was a very avid non supporter of World War II and refused to participate in the war in the any way.  He was totally against the war and never let anyone think otherwise of him. He always took the time to protest the war. Many of his films showed his hatred of war because of many of his part were anti-war heroes.

Some of his best known films include; 'All Quiet on the Western Front' 'Johnny Belinda', and 'The Kiss'.

Because of his great work in film and movies, Lew Ayres is now on the Hollywood Walk of Fame where people will be able to remember him and his superior acting career forever. He died on December 30, 1996.
