An analogue signal is a signal which can be of any variable and is continuous in nature. They have varying voltages and frequencies. It encodes voice, data and video that is transmitted. The signal can be both mechanical as well as electrical in nature. This signal depends on magnitude in order to be transferred. Therefore it requires a medium for transfer. Analogue signals genuinely range between alternate current and direct current.

Take for example a telephone voice signal is an analogue signal, all sorts of information can be transferred by analogue signals. These signals also response to physical phenomena changes.

The only flaw of analogue signal is that it also carries disturbances along with it. This noise there by can destroy all the information that is needed to be transferred.
