I dont think it does. All it does is get ur skin to tan faster/easier in the sun and it even gets u tanner! And its safer than the actual sun itself.

I don't know how it can hurt you but know a few people that have ended up with cancer from the use of them, but I guess that could because of the excessive use of them, if used in moderation I guess they are safe.......the best to you
