Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

In the year 1959 Ron Larson graduated from High School, however he did not start going to college immediately. After three years, in 1962 he went to a college along the river Clark Junior College. Deanna his wife decided to get a job in order to help Ron to get admission and study. Larson's mom agreed on baby-sit Tim, so that she could work and help him. Ron worked at Quay Restaurant, and later he started managing groceries at a super market. He decided to take math and get advanced in the subject. He was not prepared for it, because he did not remember math and trigonometry very well. He wanted to recover his knowledge and then start with his further studies.

He then went to Lewis & Clark College and asked help from the head of math department, Elvy Fredrickson. He asked her if she would allow her to do his junior and senior college studies in Lewis & Clark College. She simply went to a book shelf, selected some books and gave it to Ron. She told him to refer to the books during summer vacation before the academic year would start. And this is how he started his studies. Today Ron is very thankful to Elvy Fredrickson; he cannot forget what she did for him.
