Is A Puppy An Appropriate Gift To Give At Christmas?

            A puppy would be a lovely present to receive for Christmas, providing that it goes to the right person. If you are going to give a puppy as a gift, then you need to be absolutely sure that the person you are giving it to will be able to look after it properly.


            If the person who you are planning to give the puppy to has mentioned that they would like a puppy, and you are confident that they will look after it, then it is certainly appropriate. If you are unsure as to whether they would like a puppy or not then the best thing to do would be to leave it and get them something else.


            Pets need to be looked after properly and need to go to someone who will care for them, feed them properly, clean them, take them for walks etc. Puppies need special attention, and if you are in doubt as to whether the person you wish to give it to will provide it with the attention it needs, then avoid it.
