The person loses its basic senses and does not know what is going around. Other reason why it is restricted is to maintain the safety of the person. The person may suffer from many fatal diseases that are caused by these substances which may also result in death.

If a pregnant woman takes these kinds of substances, it may adversely affect the baby that is being born inside and the baby may suffer from various anomalies.
