Glenda it is important that the pastor teaches and preaches the entirety of the bible,It would be good when you visit a church you ask for there Doctrinal statement.The word doctrine may sound
fuzzy but it is very very important. There are generally 15 or 16 doctrines for a legitimate New
testament church 6  that are absolutes ALSO according to your style or taste may have some
importance to you Style meaning music (Worship) meaning do you like the traditional hymns
or the worship choruses I generally like the newer written music because the song is directed
to Jesus from your heart,The hymns are good for doctrine,but we get alot of doctrine from pulpit and own bible reading and christian books.When we are in Corporate Worship the Holy Spirit moves more when we sing songs from our heart to Jesus, Hymns we sing ABOUT Jesus,There is a big difference that believer's are unaware of. Alot of the mainline churches have fallen of track, they started out good just a few please do not get offended there are exceptions, Lutheran, Methodist, Presbyterian, epispic. Congregationalists, church of Christ. The ones that are still on track over all but still find out what there essential teachings (doctrine) are
,Evangelical Free, Calvary Chapel, Assembly of God, Most Baptists,Independent
interdenominational, The main essentials are Jesus is God, his virgin birth, atonement death,physical bodily resurrection, That they teach New Birth, infallibility of Bible,his 2nd coming, My personal preference is a pentecostal church, but it does not have to be.

There is nothing wrong or terrible about the teachings Jehovah Witnesses practice. Infact, they are the only ones who practice Bible principles. Many people do not understand why Jehovah Witnesses prefer to follow Bible standards. No, were are not perfect, however, you be sure to get the full benefit from the Bible from the Witnesses. They teach from the Bible for you to get a better understanding of the Bible in order to get closer to God.

Jehovah Witnesses are people,not freaks! Infact, anyone who obey Bible rules, not just preach but actually practice what is written in the Bible cannot be freaks, they are sensible people. Rather than some who fear certain rules in the Bible, they haven't taken the time to study God's words correctly and I'm sure if they take the time to speak to one of Jehovah Witnesses, they would see shy they perfer to stick to the Bible and go preach the good new far and wide, even in terrible weather conditions,they are prepared to spread the good news from God, it that so bad?

One of the problems many people have when it comes to Jehovah Witnesses is: THE BLOOD ISSUE. Would you drink blood? Ok, they may use in blood transfusions and although thats not safe, some contract HIV and even if you have a blood transfusion, you could still die anyway, so there is nothing safe about blood transfusions, but then, everyone has a choice,take it or leave it. Thats why God made us all with freewill!

Many would suggest that there is by definition no such thing as a *good* Christian Church. Consider how many innocent people have been tortured and killed in the name of the 'Christian' Church over the centuries. Do you think Jesus would have approved?

And whatever you do, don't get pulled into the lunatic fringe such as Pentecostalists and Jehovah's Witnesses.
