What Films Has Julie Walters Been In?

Julie walters has starred in many notable films, including Educating Rita (1983) in which she starred alongside Michael Caine, Billy Elliot (2000) and the Harry Potter films, in which she plays the role of Mrs Weasley. In 2004, she starred in 'Calendar Girls'.

She was born on February 22nd 1950, in Smethwick, West Midlands in England. She studied English and Drama at Manchester, where she met Victoria Wood, with whom she starred alongside in the television comedy series 'Dinnerladies'. She had also previously starred with Wood in the 1982 series 'Wood and Walters'.

Her role in Educating Rita earned her an Academy Award nomination and a BAFTA for Best Actress. She has won various other awards including the Laurence Olivier Award for her role in 'All My Sons' and a BAFTA for her supporting role in 'Billy Elliot'.

Walter's recent projects include Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) and Driving Lessons (2006).
