It depends on the engine size. And you mite get a faster answer if you refer to it as a ford escort or mazda 323. With the engine size. I would think that if it has a tensioner you could follow the serpentine belt around to each pulley to find it. Because it will be spring loaded.in other words you can move it releasing the tension on the belt. Hth. Make sure the battery is disconnected before messing with the engine.(so there is no possibility of the engine being started).oh! And never work alone on a vehicle.
