I Had A House Fire, The Insurance Company Gave Approval To Ozone The House, The Contractor Instead Used Thermal Fogging. They Left The Machine Running In The House For 24 Hours. I Haven't Been Able To Live There Since. How Do I Get The Smell Out?

I am very sensitive to chemicals, I have heard you are only supposed to use Thermal Fogging if the home is empty, all my possesions are still in the house covered with the Thermal Fogging chemical.

My parents house just caught on fire. The house was built in the 1940's and surprisingly, only two rooms burned. The company who was contracted by their insurance said that they could get rid of the smoke damage from the carpet, upolstrey, electronics, walls and even the pictures with "Thermal Fogging" and other techniques.. I am afraid that my parents are being taken advantage of. The smell was almost toxic.

You probably need to talk with an attorney where you live. They can advise you of your legal avenues for re-compensation for the loss of your living area and what recourses you may have for this matter.
