    The Sahara basically is the biggest hot desert in the world; it is the second biggest desert after the Antarctica. The total are of Sahara is 9,000,000 square kilometres and it is as big as America.

    Sahara is situated in Northern Africa and said to be around 2.5 million years old. The term Sahara is an English pronunciation of the Arabic term for desert. The Sahara desert is bounded by the Atlantic Ocean towards the west, the Atlas Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea towards the north, the Red Sea and Egypt towards the east and Sudan as well as the valley of Niger River towards the south.

    There have been human settlements towards the edge of the desert from the past 500,000 years. There are approximately 2.5 million people residing in the Sahara presently, most of these are based in Egypt, Mauritania, Morocco and Algeria.

        There are many ways and things you will find it if you concentrate by the way i think there is a bigger question then that maybe you need to find what is sahara desert in?
