Shark follows the professional and personal life of Sebastian Stark (played by James Woods).
Stark was a ruthless, confident defence lawyer who, after a personal epiphany and a shocking case outcome, moves over to work as prosecution for the district attorney.
He works with a team of young, influential prosecutor who are often shocked but pleasantly surprised by his underhanded methods of work. After all why should he let the bad guys off if there is a way to stop them!
Complicating his life is his sixteen year old daughter Julie, who opted to live with him when her mother moved to New York. She has her on teenage problems to deal with and suddenly Stark has to get used to being a working father!
