What Is 'Sales Forecast'? ( Business Planning Issues)

    Basically a Sales Forecast is a short-term plan for your sales and revenue.  Forecasts are your planned 3-6 months ahead and you plan for each month for the next 3 to 6 months.

    A forecast is different to a budget which tends to be a plan for a longer period of time, usually 12 months.
