I Just Purchased A Chicago Electric Generator Used. Item #90236. I Has A 9 H.p. Motor.max. Generator Output Is 4.600 Watts. Motor Runs, It Has A Robin Ex27 Engine. A Piece Is Missing Under Gen. Back Cover.

This part that is missing must have had a two terminal plug because there is a two prong plug with 2 brown wires hanging there. Everything else seems physically OK. I would like to know what this was, and if i can get one. Also if there is a way to check the generator without this part to make sure that is all that is wrong, before i spend more money. Thanks.

You're missing your capacitor.  Bolts in place directly opposite your 4 wire terminal block.  Capacitor is 36uFD 350V
