Should I Worry If My Puppy's Nose Is Dry As Well As His Tongue?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Until or unless, your dog is having fever or showing any other sign of illness like lethargy, loss appetite, loss of weight, reduced activities, dry nose is not a matter of concern in dogs. Many owners that I have seen on this site and in my clinic, report that their dog has dry nose. I always try to clear them that dry nose in dogs does not mean illness or cold nose does not point out health. If your dog is behaving normally, eating normally and playing normally and has dry nose then no need to be worried about this condition. If your dog is also showing signs of illness along with dry or cold nose then take him to vet.
