What Attractions Are There In Mauritius?

Mauritius is an island in the Indian Ocean off the East coast of the Africa.  There is so much to see in Mauritius. In the North of the island you have the Grand Bay ~ this was first part of the island which was part of the great tourist rise. It has many shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs. If you're into hiking or mountain biking in superb surroundings then the Labourdonnais Orchards are for you ~ the Orchards boast an exotic array of trees and flowers and you can also walk or cycle around them. In the East you'll find the open air market at Flacq and the Waterpark Leisure Village. If you're a nature lover you'll find the Ile aux Aigrettes which is a nature reserve funded by the Mauritius Wildlife Foundation. It hosts many rare birds and endangered species. In the West you have the popular Martello Towers ~ these are 2 defensive forts which were built by the British Empire. On the West Coast you have the opportunity to see Dolphins. Inland there are many more treats such as the Black River Gorges and the Ganga Talao.
