My 8 Month Old Niece Won't Sleep. She Only Sleeps For An Hour At A Time, Help Please?

You niece may be allowed to be getting too much sleep. Your sister/brother/in-law may want to try keeping their daughter occupied for a while- I don't want to say to force her to stay awake, but just to keep her attention. This may allow your niece to grow sleepy and sleep for longer than an hour. Changing the diaper, making sure the room is slightly warm, feeding warmed milk and dimming the lights before putting her to sleep may help as well. If your niece doesn't start sleeping soon, have her parents take her to the pediatrician. There could be something medically wrong. Hope all goes well!

Children need a lot of sleep everyday because it is only for them to sleep.
They get tired by their own activities they do the whole day.

They too have the feelings of distress , restlessness,tensions perceiving to their elders.

Cause of these reasons leads to their sleeplessness.

Though they cannot express their feelings ,they also look quiet joyful from outside ,they too have the same tensions and all which hinder them to sleep at night.

Children often become dull,unexiting. This  makes them to have sleepless nights due to the elders scoldings or  by making them getting scolded infront of others.

Due to this they get irritated or they may often broke into tears.

Is your niece having the whole day of refreshment ?or

Is she getting insulted infront of others by her elders or by her parents?

If these are often experienced , these are the main reasons to have sleepless nights.

Make your niece to enjoy the whole day.
