Where Is Nob?

Nob is located somewhere in the Israel in the vicinity of Jerusalem. It is said that Nob may have actually been located close Bahurim, close to the Mount of Olives or maybe further to the North. Since Jerusalem is the border between the tribe of Benjamin and the tribe of Judah, it is highly unlikely that it belonged to the tribe of Benjamin.

Nob in the bible is described as the place where David fled to meet the high priest Achimelech; Nob was the place where David also received the sword of Goliath.
