How Do You Set Up A Wireless Modem?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The first step in the process of setting up a wireless modem is to choose the wireless equipment which you will require. For this, you need to have a broadband Internet connection, a wireless router and a personal computer (which is abbreviated as a PC) which offers the users the features of either built-in wireless networking support or a wireless network adapter.

You have to then connect your wireless router. The Internet is linked to the modem which is, in turn, connected to the wireless router. The wireless router can either be connected to the computer or your computer can be connected directly to your wireless modem.

The next step in the process is to configure your wireless router by configuring your SSID (or wireless network name), your wireless encryption or Wi-Fi protected access and your administrative password and the last step in the process of setting up your wireless modem to connect your computers.
